New Years Eve lights with Hogle Zoo

FYI - Thursday Dec. 31 after dark the Hogle Zoo lights are on and admission is $3-6. It's thursday and the last night too. They do a fun new years celebration at 9pm for the kids so you can get them to bed early if you want. I thought I would share.

Merry Christmas

To all the family hope your wants and wishes came true. This was a bitter sweet year this year with Susan being gone. We worked hard to hopefully make everyone happy with the selections on Susan's behalf. Enjoy your gifts and Merry Christmas.

Busy fun

Well we had a wonderful family christmas party at cheryls. She will be leaving to England Dec 19th - January 9th, along with lauren and Aaron.

Update

Susan's house is done. Her tent in the backyard has some items in it. We want all to be able to relish in their hard work.

I had a nice reminder on Sunday to find gratitude in individuals and general things around me. It's nice to hear a compliment or a thank you. So, thank you to all who have helped, in so many ways. We COULD NOT have done it without you.

I also saw a nice decorating touch too, while on the subject. Cut out pieces of paper (maybe the shape of a leaf) and write something your thankful for and hang it on branches that were once outside now brought inside. Hang them up on a string as a reminder for the season too.

It just wasn't the same without Susan but we went out and tried to enjoy the evening. It's fun to have a reason to get dressed up whether to be a witch or a silly woman it's great none the less. Here we are.

Susan Yard Sale Saturday Oct 17th

Here is the information for the yard sale. Family is asked to come before hand to pick out things they would want. The yard sale goes from 8-12. 7am we will be arranging to prepare for shoppers. Address 11803 South Burkwood Lane (turn east from 700 east into Sunset Ponds Community). FYI the neighborhood will be involved. Questions call cheryl 9794046 or jaimi 6715948.

Cheryl has returned from England

Let the progress continue. Unsure of how plans will be for getting the yard sale ready for next Saturday. We all will be picking things that we preferr before the yard sale. The yard sale is still oct. 17th let's pray the weather will be good.

Cheryl is in England with Bill helping him move into their place. She will return in time for Susan's Estate sale being held October 17th at Kim's house (great turn out).

This has been our 4th straight, hard working Saturday to help clean out Susan's house. We will be taking the things to Kim's for the Yard Sale coming up on Oct. 17th. We will before hand arrange and divide what people may want before hand. Call Jaimi if you need Kim's address. Last Susan update

Susan passed away yesterday morning at 9:10 am peacefully at Shawns house. The viewing will be Monday 6-8pm at Larkin Mortuary on south temple and 260 East? in slc. Tuesday her another viewing before the funeral starts is 11:30-12:30. The funeral starts at 1pm at West Lake LDS ward house on 3100 S and 3450 W. Monday Aug 24th Susan

Susan sleeps a lot. She has had adjustments in her medicine for pain. Her thinking has improved due to the lesser dosage she was once receiving. She is growing more emaciated (sp?). She is such a fighter but she says she doesn't want to fight anymore. She has some of her things around the room to brighten her day. The hospice still comes daily. She is still taking visitors. We don't know how much time she has left.

Susan Monday Aug 17th

She is feeling more pain more often due to her weight loss. Her cognitive thinking is decreasing and when she is awake a lot she gets confused more often when she is tired. Hospice care still comes daily. Siblings are sharing time blocks with caring of her. We encourage you all to visit when you can.

Amber's graduation was months ago. I am sorry I wanted to spiff up the pictures before posting them. She deserves it. Sorry they aren't in order.
